GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher

Target/aim:

The aim of this course is to refresh the participants’ knowledge of giving first aid in a safe way. The course will follow the legislative requirements in the country and pursuant to the guidelines of European Resuscitation Council (ERC) and American Herat Association (AHA).

 

Target group:

The course is for employees in the wind industry (both on- and offshore) who has a valid “GWO Fire” certificate already and wants to extend the validity.

Handling of incidents

Lifesaving first-aid

ERC BLS/AED Provider

Use of AED

Basic first-aid

Case-based learning

Evaluaton

 

Duration:

4 hours (corresponding to a half working day)

 

Number of participants:

Minimum 4 and maximum 8 persons

  

Place of education:

Nordjyllands Beredskabs Training center in Aalborg.

 

Price:  

Price per person DK kr. 1.514,00 included meals, teaching materials and WINDA certificate. The price is exclusive of VAT.    

 

Conditions:

To attend the course, your WINDA certificate must be valid.

 

GWO Certificate:  

Your GWO certificate is valid for 24 months.
