GWO Basic Safety Training

Target/aim:

The participants on this course will be able to prove an understanding of the importance of carry out first aid in a safe and sound manner in accordance with the law requirements in their geographical location – in agreement with European Resuscitation Council (ERC) and the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.

Target group:

This training course is for employees in the wind industry and related employments with a need to acquire a "GWO BST First Aid Module" certificate.

Contents:

Introduction

Legislation

Anatomy

Handling of accidents and issues

CPR

Lifesaving first aid (A-B-C)

Use of AED

Case-based learning

Evaluation

Duration:

8 hours (corresponding to one working day)

Number of participants:

Minimum 4 and maximum 8 persons

Place of education:

Nordjyllands Beredskabs Training center in Aalborg.

Price:  

Price per person DK kr. 2.658,00 included meals, teaching materials and WINDA certificate. The price is exclusive of VAT.    

Conditions:

You need to get a WINDA number before you start on this course, because we use it to upload your GWO certificate.
