GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher

Target/aim:

This BSTR Manual handling module has the aim to improve and update the participants’ knowledge of having a positive manual handling behavior and use the expertise to work safe in the wind industry. The module will be implemented through theoretical and practical learning and it is arranged in accordance with GWO BST / BSTR Manuel handling maintenance.

 

Target group:

The course is for employees in the wind industry (both on- and offshore) who has a valid “GWO Fire” certificate and wants to extend the validity of it.

Risks and danger

Spinal anatomy and body posture

Planning a lift

Risk control and lifting technique

Safety behavior

Case-based practice

Evaluation

 

Duration:

4 hours (corresponding to a half working day)

 

Number of participants:

Minimum 4 and maximum 8 persons

 

Place of education:

Nordjyllands Beredskabs Training center in Aalborg.

 

Price:  

Price per person DK kr. 1.107,00 included meals, teaching materials and WINDA certificate. The price is exclusive of VAT.  

  

Conditions:

To attend the course, your WINDA certificate must be valid.

 

GWO Certificate:  

Your GWO certificate is valid for 24 months
