GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher

Target/aim:

The aim of this BSTR Working at Heights Module is to go through old knowledge and develop it by practical and theoretical learning. By this the participants will be able to work safely and effectively in the wind industry. The course agree with GWO working at heights training-refresher.

 

Target group:

This course is for employees in the wind industry (both on- and offshore) who has a valid “GWO Fire” certificate and wants to extend the validity of it.

Vertical anti-fall systems

Linear shock absorbers

Work positioning

Backup systems for practice

Workshop: risks and danger

Emergency procedure

PPE Report

Rescue unit

Continued trauma

Life-saving drill

Case-based practice

Evaluation

 

Duration:

8 hours (corresponding to one working day)

 

Number of participants:

Minimum 4 and maximum 8 persons

 

Place of education:

Nordjyllands Beredskabs Training center in Aalborg.

 

Price:  

Price per person DK kr. 2.976,00 included meals, teaching materials and WINDA certificate. The price is exclusive of VAT. 

   

Conditions:

To attend the course, your WINDA certificate must be valid.

 

GWO Certificate:  

Your GWO certificate is valid for 24 months.
